The U.S. continues to escalate the blockade on Cuba and threaten to invade. We’ll screen a new Belly of the Beast short documentary, From Cuba to Calabria, about Cuba’s medical brigades. We’re excited to have speaker Dr. Tanalis Padilla, frequent traveler to Cuba and author of a book about Cuba’s medical brigades; as well as returning Brigadistas from the International May Day Brigade. Bob Schwartz from Global Health Partners will also speak.

Funds raised will go to Global Health Partners and Medical Education Cooperation with Cuba (MEDICC) for maternal and neonatal humanitarian aid.
