Calling all friends of Cuba!
Day of Action – Wednesday June 3, 2026
Week of Action – Sunday June 28, 2026 to Saturday July 4, 2026
Peace friends,
The No War on Cuba campaign is a global movement to stop U.S. military aggression against Cuba. We are building a coordinated worldwide network to act together quickly when Cuba is threatened through shared resources, coordinated communications, and alignment with a common plan that puts unity into action.
Our demands include:
We also demand an end to military and financial support for the United States war machine anywhere in the world.
Fidel Castro taught us that revolution is a collective process of transformation rather than a one time military victory or an individual act of heroism, with its success depending on organized people taking strategic action to change what needs changing in their society and in themselves. Today the United States war machine is trying to starve and stomp Cuba into submission, but the Cuban people have done more than simply survive because they have organized, resisted, and defended their revolution together, with Fidel as one leader among a nation of revolutionaries who built and sustained the project through decades of struggle against empire.
The lesson for our movements is clear: only organized masses of people unified by a shared strategy for collective action can make history. That is why we are raising the call to build connection, to move collectively, and to practice unity in action through coordinated rapid response, material aid, and international days of action. Together we can end the U.S. war on Cuba and the broader war on working people everywhere.
The National Network on Cuba is calling for an International Day of Action against the United States war on Cuba on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. This date marks five months since the United States invasion of Venezuela, which killed one hundred people including thirty two brave Cubans and led to the kidnapping of democratically elected President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. June 3 also falls on the ninety-fifth birthday of Cuban revolutionary hero, Raúl Castro Ruz.
We are also organizing an International Week of Action from Sunday, June 28 through Saturday, July 4, 2026, and on July 4 while the United States celebrates its own independence we will expose the hypocrisy of a nation that denies Cuba’s. As the United States escalates the blockade, weaponizes fuel access, maintains Cuba on the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, and threatens violent overthrow of the Cuban government, we respond with the same steadfastness, the same dignity, and the same refusal to accept injustice that Fidel embodied for over half a century.
